MIGRATION – “Migrants inclusion through entrepreneurship supported by business sector“ – KA2 Erasmus+

We had a great time during our first transnational project meeting for our Erasmus+ project MIGRATION:

“Migrants inclusion through entrepreneurship supported by business sector“

Our project aims to support entrepreneurship of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers. Within the project we will implement a digital environment for business incubation and mentoring, including a bank of business ideas as well as financial and legal assessment. Furthermore, we will reach out and involve professionals from business and social areas in our project.

Partners on the Migration project in Valencia, May 2022

We are supporting the integration of marginalized groups into society and economy to foster equal opportunities and social equity. Our project is based on the premise that people with a migrant or refugee background can contribute positively to both, society and economy, provided that their skills, capacities and entrepreneurial spirit – often acquired in migration – are given sufficient support and recognition.

Results of the project:

  • Project Result 1: Methodological toolkit to involve business and social professionals in entrepreneurship programmes.
  • Project Result 2: Digital bank of business ideas for Migrants
  • Project Result 3: Digital platform for financial and legal assessment
  • Project Result 4: Digital environment for business incubation and mentoring of new entrepreneurs with migrant background

Update 16.08.2022

During Migration project, main task for Learning Wizard is a PR3 which means that we oversee creating eLearning platform with an assistance of all partners of the project. This Project Result will consist of a digital tool that will allow migrant people, who want to start an economic activity, to find information about the economic possibilities and current legal provisions.

This tool will be complementary to training and/or incubation processes focused on the development of entrepreneurial and soft skills. Migrant people at risk of exclusion, who are the learners we work with in our programmes, in general, have the following profile: low economic capacity, low-qualified and/or with none work experience in management tasks. In this sense, they are not prepared or equipped to deal with legal aspects to start a new business. Therefore, it is necessary to define some mechanisms and tools to teach them these issues, and guide them through the different possibilities they have and, at the same time, facilitate their actions.

This project result directly targets new entrepreneurs participating in incubation programmes. The new tool will be designed following the principles of “Design Thinking”, so it will become a useful and adapted product to address the needs of the target group. It will also offer space and methods for the exchange of experiences and users’ good practice…

Digitalisation and innovation of Youth work methodology for inclusion of immigrants – KA2 Erasmus+

This project responds to the needs of our youngsters (mainstream and marginalised) and youth workers, as well as is in line with the latest findings on European level that there is a need for innovative youth work approach towards youngsters that spend a lot of their time online and do not visit (local) youth centres/clubs so much, any more.
With this project, we aim at further empowering our youth workers in innovative usage of digitalisation, online youth work and gamification methodology in regular work with youngsters (incl. immigrants) in our communities, in order to increase attractiveness of the youth work activities and make them up-to-date for better impact on inclusion and engagement of both mainstream and marginalised, immigrant youngsters.

Project is funded by Erasmus+ programme/ Key Action 2: Strategic Partnership Projects and involves partners from Germany, Serbia, Sweden and Croatia.

Social entrepreneurship for a sustainable future with less conflict – KA2 Erasmus+

The project aims to change the educational approaches by equipping youth organisations and youth workers with tools and approaches they can use to support entrepreneurship of young women in a way that is socially and culturally appropriate. The project gathers organisations that already have experiences of supporting young women to be socially and economically active and allows them to develop new ways of dealing with the challenges they have identified. When implemented, it will result in a strengthened support system for NEET / young girls, particularly fromrural, more traditional and disadvantaged communities.

Project is funded by Erasmus+ programme/ Key Action 2: Strategic Partnership Projects and involves partners from Netherlands, Germany, Serbia, Sweden and Croatia.
